San Mateo County Public Works operates County Service Area No. 7 (CSA 7) to provide potable water to approximately 70 customers in the La Honda community. The water system also supplies two County facilities: Camp Glenwood Boys Ranch and Sam McDonald Park.
The CSA7 Customer Advisory Committee is authorized by the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors to advise and make recommendations to the Public Works Director regarding water rates, plans for system improvements, and organizational and operational issues affecting CSA7 in San Mateo County (La Honda, CA).
The meeting will be held online. The Zoom link and the agenda will be available a few days before the meeting.
The agenda always has an item for public comment so that non-Committee members can ask questions or make comments. Documents used at the meeting are available on this web site (see links at top & bottom of each page). The meetings generally run 2 hours, depending on the agenda.
If you would like to attend, please send email to your neighborhood representative for the link for the online meeting.
Preliminary Agenda
Here are tips to help conserve water in this time of drought and severe water shortage.
Here are things you can do if you discover or suspect a leak, low pressure, or low flow, before you call the County to report it. Every call to the County and every service dispatch costs our little water system money, and the more we can do on our own, the farther our budget will stretch.
